The Garden Expo Park, situated in the Longjing Lake Park of Chongqing City’s northern new district, is a haven for natural and cultural landscape appreciation. Surrounded by streets, it offers picturesque views of Jinyun Mountain, Jigong Mountain, the Wengtang Gorge and Guanyin Gorge of the Jialing River, as well as the urban vista of Beibei.

From the end of February to March, more than 20 types of spring flowers, including cherry blossoms, camellias, azaleas, begonias, and gardenias, bloom in the park, presenting a delicate and charming display. Particularly striking are the nearly 2000 peach blossoms along the Ba Yu Garden and the lakefront, which, against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds, are a feast for the eyes.
From early March to mid-April, over 1000 Japanese late cherry blossoms grace the 1.5-kilometer-long cherry blossom avenue in the Huicui Garden. Additionally, the park’s ‘Tulip Flower Sea’ is a spectacle of four major varieties in four colors: red, orange, pink, and yellow.In the romantic spring of March, the tulips form a vast ocean of flowers in the tens of thousands of square meters of wetland flower valley.
