The Chongqing Opera House was established in 1953. Its predecessor was the Experimental Opera Troupe of the Southwest People’s Art Theatre. In 2007, the Chongqing Symphony Orchestra was added. It is the backbone of Chongqing’s music performance art. Opening hours: Open from 09:00 to 17:00 throughout the year.
