Chongqing Hanhai Ocean Park is located in Longzhouwan, Banan District, Chongqing, adjacent to the Xue Tangwan Station of the Rail Transit Line 3. The first phase of the ocean park will open two major thematic venues, the Rainforest Pavilion and the Ocean Pavilion, with an exhibition area of 23,000 square meters, showcasing hundreds of species of marine life, totaling over 50,000 individuals. The venues include 12 distinctive themed exhibition areas such as ‘Tropical Rainforest’, ‘Rainforest Secrets’, ‘Chinese Fish Pavilion’, ‘Galaxy Jellyfish Pavilion’, ‘Pandora Plaza’, ‘360 Panoramic Coral Reef’, ‘Poseidon’s Temple’, ‘Underwater Tunnel’, ‘Shark Pavilion’, ‘Marine Curiosities’, ‘Aegean Sea Theater’, and ‘Children’s Ocean Park’.
The park is open from 08/30 to 09/01 from 09:00 to 21:00, and from 09/02 to 12/31 from 09:00 to 17:30.Concessions for children: Children under 1.2 meters (not including 1.2 meters) must be accompanied by an adult with the ability to provide safety supervision and enter the park for free; children between 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters can purchase tickets on Ctrip. Concessions for the elderly: Elderly people aged 65 and above can enter the park for free with their ID card, provided they are accompanied by an adult with the ability to provide safety supervision, with one adult allowed to bring one free elderly person into the park. Concessions for those aged 60 to 65 (not including 65) are available for purchase at the scenic spot. Concessions for military personnel: Military personnel can purchase tickets with a valid officer’s certificate at the scenic spot.
