Chongqing Industrial Culture Expo Park is located at the former site of Chongqing Steel Group in Dadukou District. It is primarily an industrial culture heritage site, transformed through creative renovation of old factory buildings into a themed tourist destination for industrial culture.
The park mainly consists of the ‘Century of Splendor’ main exhibition hall, the ‘Soul of Steel’ thematic hall, and the industrial heritage park, making it a place for the inheritance of Chongqing’s modern industrial history, a science popularization site for the making of steel through the iron-blooded westward migration, and a convergence point for the integration of industrial culture and public art. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round; the park is closed all day on Mondays.
