In line with the project’s positioning, it will leverage Chongqing’s ‘mother city’ cultural tourism resources to integrate the development of modern cultural tourism industries, aiming to create a distinctive cultural tourism demonstration area and an international cultural showcase for Chongqing, becoming an international cultural tourism destination. It integrates commerce, scenery, travel, and culture into one, showcasing the panoramic view of Chongqing’s eight-hundred-year history and culture, and authentically creating a strong experiential cultural and tourism commercial demonstration base.
Chongqing Shabaidi Traditional Style Area, focusing on ‘urban sightseeing’, ‘intangible cultural heritage inheritance’, and ‘cultural creative experience’, combined with the industrial positioning of modern service industries such as ‘night economy’, achieves a panoramic experience development of ‘culture + tourism’, ‘culture + commerce’, ‘culture + creativity’, ‘culture + crossover’, and plans four distinctive areas: traditional culture experience, national trend cultural creative experience, international exchange center, and lifestyle center.

The traditional culture experience (AB areas) is based on the traditional folk culture, market culture, and historical architectural culture of the Bashu region, creating an open cultural experience block integrating cultural leisure, humanistic sightseeing, and dining and accommodation, deeply attracting foreign tourists. It introduces Sichuan and Chongqing hot pot, characteristic Jianghu dishes, fine Yu dishes, and special snacks, among other intangible cultural heritage displays, showcasing the unique ‘flavor of Chongqing’ and the charm of Bashu.

Utilizing inherited and innovative handicraft products, exquisitely developed tourism commodities, and distinctive cultural IP derivatives, it showcases the fashion culture of the national trend, deeply attracting literary and artistic customers.

The introduction of national trend brands, innovative retail, fine accessories, and craft gifts, with a colorful array of national trend brands, showcases the charm of national trend cultural creativity.

The D area International Exchange Center (opened in 2022) integrates international multiculturalism, tourism service distribution, and urban brand reception into one, creating an international exchange center that deeply attracts high-end consumers from home and abroad. The area plans to introduce cultural exhibitions, retail, catering, and other formats, as well as brand crossover flagship stores, automotive concept experience stores, digital experience stores, fashion cultural creativity, and international trends, Michelin and Black Pearl foreign cuisine restaurants, and other brands that showcase characteristic cultures, creating an international cultural exchange space.

The Lifestyle Center (E area) (opened in 2022) integrates night economy demonstration gathering, personalized leisure consumption, and open youth social functions into one, showcasing a refined lifestyle and deeply attracting young consumer groups. The area plans to introduce entertainment, retail, catering, and other formats, focusing on introducing cultural performances, characteristic bars, themed pubs, international catering chains, and other characteristic brands, creating a ‘late-night canteen’ that caters to multiple taste experiences, and creating a leisure and entertainment street that integrates dining and trendy culture, activating the city’s night economy.
