The take-off site is located at Wanjia Mountain in Yuzi Village, with coordinates 106°58’58” E and 28°56’26” N, at an altitude of 780 meters; the landing site is located on the large lawn inside Yuzi Wetland Park, with coordinates 106°58’08” E and 28°56’29” N, at an altitude of 320 meters.
The straight-line distance between the two points is 1.5km, with a relative drop of 460 meters. This area is predominantly characterized by southeast winds, east winds, and northeast winds, with wind speeds mostly ranging from 0m/s to 6m/s. It also boasts vast green lawns, colorful pools, cute cartoon wooden houses, and lush yellow horn trees, making it a picturesque and ideal location for low-altitude flight sports such as paragliding. The Chongqing Black Valley Glider Site currently mainly offers paragliding training and experience services, as well as hosting paragliding competitions.
