The South Station of Chongqing Yangtze River Cableway is the southern starting point of the Yangtze River Cableway. It is located at No. 4 Shangxin Street, Nan’an District, Chongqing City, close to the opposite side of Longmenhao Sub-district Office. The Yangtze River Cableway is one of the landmark scenic spots in Chongqing. It is known as the ‘aerial corridor of the Yangtze River for thousands of miles’.
It is not only a means of urban transportation in Chongqing but also a popular choice for tourists to experience the characteristics of the mountain city and enjoy the urban scenery. Inside the South Station, there is a film and television culture wall, which displays stills of film and television dramas and variety shows filmed in Chongqing, such as ‘Zhou Yu’s Train’ and ‘Crazy Stone’. Secondly, there is an invitation platform that provides a rest area for tourists.
