Chongqing Zoo is located in Yangjiaping, Jiulongpo District, and is one of the larger comprehensive parks in Chongqing City. It serves as an important base for wildlife relocation protection, a living classroom for science education and publicity, a beautiful garden for citizens to visit and tour, and an important place for wildlife scientific research. The zoo houses a diverse range of animals, including pandas, giraffes, lions, zebras, elephants, tigers, crocodiles, and orangutans. Visitors can follow the directional signs within the zoo to see a variety of animals without repeating their paths.
Bringing children to the zoo on weekends to observe animals and gain knowledge is an excellent choice. The zoo is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00.

Restrooms: Multiple restrooms are available within Chongqing Zoo, located near the visitor center and marked with conspicuous signs.


Restaurants: Several restaurants are located within the zoo, near the Chinese restaurant, and marked with conspicuous signs. Alipay and WeChat Pay are accepted.
