Chongshengci is the middle hall of Xingcheng Confucian Temple. It was built during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a special sacrificial temple built when Emperor Yongzheng posthumously conferred the title of king on the five generations of Confucius’ ancestors.
