The Chuzhou Prefecture City Wall was first constructed in the ninth year of the Kaihuang era of the Sui Dynasty, with a history of over 1400 years.
Today, apart from the remaining city walls and gates, all structures within Chuzhou Prefecture City are newly built仿古 buildings.
