The Cixi Museum is located at the northern foot of the beautiful Zhishan Park, close to the newly-built Zhishan Cultural Square. It covers an area of 7,822 square meters, and the main building area is 2,000 square meters. The total investment is 4 million yuan. Construction started on June 28, 1996, and was completed on January 28, 1997. It was officially opened to the public on November 8, 1998.
Opening hours: From November 1 to April 30, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:30 – 16:30; from May 1 to October 31, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:30 – 17:00; closed all day on Monday throughout the year. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
