Clever Landscape Scenic Area is the only coastal grottoes group in Ninghai – Wu Mountain Grottoes, following the opening of Buzhou Shenshan. Unlike the magical and magnificent Buzhou Shenshan, which showcases the perfect combination of ancient stone quarrying miracles and nature, Clever Landscape Scenic Area creates a clever-themed amusement park with unique creativity, integrating sculpture, images, objects, scenes, and other expressive techniques to highlight the perfect combination of wisdom and nature. Wu Mountain Grottoes boasts abundant ancient stone quarrying cave resources. Through the overall observation and artistic imagination of professionals, slightly carved damaged rocks are integrated with the surrounding rock mass to form a large stone carving art piece. This millennial cooperation between modern artists and ancient craftsmen will become a model for the artistic development of protecting history, achieving a win-win situation. At the same time, the themes of the sculptures are consistent or compatible with the clever theme of the scenic area. This kind of finishing touch can be regarded as turning stones into gold and turning waste into treasure. According to the remaining inscriptions and historical records, the beauty of Clever Mountain and the temple of the mountain god has existed before the Western Han Dynasty, and the ancient Congshan scenic spot is known as the first of the ‘Pinggan Eight Scenic Spots’. Historical records: Liu Yan, the King of Qing, whose courtesy name is Pinggan, was appointed by Emperor Wu of Han to Guangping and thus changed the name of Guangping State to Pinggan State. King Liu Yan was good at classics and history, loved literature, set up schools extensively, promoted education, and liked to visit famous historical sites. He arranged eight scenic spots such as Clever Mountain, Zhao Huiwang Temple, Mao Sui Tomb, Pig Mountain Stone Carvings, Zi Mountain, and Zhao Wang Mausoleum in Guangping State as ‘Pinggan Eight Scenic Spots’, with Clever Mountain listed as the first scenic spot, named ‘Congshan Yunxiu’. This happened from the second year of Emperor Wu of Han’s Zhenghe (91 BC) to the second year of Emperor Xuan of Han’s Wu Feng (56 BC), indicating that the scenic spot of Clever Mountain and Zhao Huiwang Temple Temple had become famous in the early Western Han Dynasty.
