The performing show takes the ocean as the theme and shows the close connection between humans and the ocean and the concept of harmonious coexistence through a series of vivid scenes. Starting from the prologue ‘Looking at the Sea’, it is divided into ten acts.
Vientiane mountains and seas, the sound of waves echoes. Tides rise and fall, and the vicissitudes of life. The primitive and mysterious ocean nourishes all things in the world. The fishing drum sounds, and the chant is sonorous and powerful. The fishing light leads the way. Fishing boats cross the waves and sail towards the place where the sea and sky blend.
The first act ‘Sun and Moon’ tells the unique position of Shipu in time and space and the stories it carries.
The second act ‘Symbiosis’ and the third act ‘City Celebration’ respectively show the harmonious coexistence relationship between humans and nature and between humans and cities.
