Juxi Village, located at the northern foot of Dashan Mountain, is anciently known as Gui Chuan and Ju Chuan. Surrounded by mountains and with beautiful landscapes, the village offers a serene and unique environment. The entire village currently has 360 households with a population of 1130, all surnamed Kong, making it a settlement of descendants of Confucius in Jiangnan. The Confucius Family Temple, built by successive dynasties for the ‘Kong’s Wuzhou Southern Lineage’ (also known as ‘Wuzhou Kong’) which refers to the descendants of the 47th generation of Confucius, Kong Duangong, is situated in Panfeng Township, Juxi Village, Pan’an County, and is now a key cultural relics protection unit. Opening hours: 08:00-17:00 from January 1st to December 31st.
