Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, both the economy and culture have been continuously developing, leading to a prosperous period for the art of Teochew hand-pulled clay pots, which has become a national intangible cultural heritage. In terms of craftsmanship, there is a greater pursuit of the delicacy of hand-made products. These pots are not only vessels for holding tea soup but also the most direct and tangible carriers of the Teochew Gongfu tea culture. Today, through generations of inheritance and development, many masters have emerged. They work together, study, and innovate, forming four major craft features: thin-walled clay pots, thick-walled sand-adjusted pots, bright needle pressure light sand pots, and twisted clay pots, reaching a new height of development. The exhibition borrows 101 pieces/sets of hand-pulled clay pots from the Chaozhou City Museum, aiming to showcase the unique cultural charm of Teochew hand-pulled clay pots. The exhibition is open from September 27th to November 22nd, with specific business status subject to daily opening conditions.
