Qingliang Pavilion, originally named Zhiyi Pavilion, derives its name from the phrase ‘Zhi bi Fei xi, zhan wang mu xi’ from the ‘Book of Songs’. It was built in 1928 by Huang Guo, a notable figure from the Xinhai Revolution, in memory of his mother.
Xuguang Terrace, located on the hilltop of Mantou Mountain, which resembles a peninsula, offers a prime spot for watching the sunrise and enjoying the mountain scenery in Moganshan. From Xuguang Terrace, one can see the full panorama of Moganshan, with its varied buildings and bamboo villas, forming a vast natural picture that is truly breathtaking.
It is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day, with specific operating status subject to daily opening conditions.
