The Coral Polyp Laboratory is dedicated to the conservation and research of coral reefs. We are committed to conducting scientific research and technological development of coral reef ecosystems. At the laboratory, we offer a variety of marine exploration activities designed to bring you closer to the wonders of marine life. Our coral ecological sea-land tanks allow you to observe corals and tropical fish up close, experiencing the unique charm of the underwater world. We have also designed a rich array of marine science experiments for you to participate in:
– Sea grape DNA extraction, which uncovers the mysteries of biological genetics.
– Seawater quality testing, where you learn how to analyze the health of the marine environment.
– Microscopic observation of coral cells, exploring the intricate structure of coral life.
In addition to these hands-on experiences, we have professional marine science educators on staff.
