The Cuiwei Corridor is located in the northwest corner of Tianhengshan Cultural Park. It is a corridor with unique characteristics. Although it is a building with a wooden imitation frame structure, its design is ingenious and its shape is unique. It is like a masterpiece of nature, as if created by divine craftsmanship. It is far better than being constructed with original wood. It is simple and thick, without any trace of artificial decoration. It is built according to local conditions and winds its way up along the mountain. It is like a coiled dragon lying alone on the top of a cliff, receiving the heavens and dew, looking down at the green mountains and blue sea, listening to the sound of the wind and waves, and recording the vicissitudes of history. Beside it, there is a small stone carving. The four cursive characters ‘Heavenly Wind and Sea Waves’ by modern art master Liu Haisu are engraved on it in intaglio. They are simple and vigorous, complementing each other with the Cuiwei Corridor. The characteristic of the Cuiwei Corridor lies in its location between the mountains and the sea. Its layout follows the mountain trend. Its design is framed without obstruction and leaky yet natural. Walking in it, one will surely feel that it is an ideal place for people to rest, view, be romantic, and express emotions.
