Cunxin Shantang, constructed during the 25th year of the Guangxu Emperor’s reign, spans an area of approximately 2,500 square meters.
It features a two-entrance courtyard layout with exquisite local-style decorations such as inlaid porcelain, wood carvings, stone carvings, and gold lacquer paintings.
The craftsmanship is meticulous, and the content is rich, making it a representative work of the ancient architecture artists in the Chaoshan region during the late Qing Dynasty and a crystallization of Chaoshan’s traditional architectural skills.
It is open to the public all year round from 09:00 to 11:30 and from 14:30 to 17:00.
