Dongfu Mountain Island is imbued with a rich fishing village charm. In front of every door hangs a dark green fishing net, and each household’s house is constructed using the original stones from the island. Stone houses, stone walls, and stone paths form a world of stone. Likely to prevent strong winds from blowing away the roof tiles, rows of stones are placed on top of the tiles. These special seaside stone houses, built to withstand typhoons, have now become a distinctive attraction.
