Da Yuandong National Forest Park is located in Jiangjin District, Chongqing, and is reputed to be the hometown of Lan Caihe, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese mythology. The park covers an area of 3,459 hectares and belongs to the subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest belt, with a forest coverage rate of 95.4%.
The park is rich in animal and plant resources, including more than 40 species under national key protection. The rock tomb carvings and ancient plank roads within the park showcase the park’s rich ancient cultural connotations.
The park is open from January 1st to December 31st, from 08:00 to 17:00.
