Dachangshan Island is located in the central part of the Changshan Archipelago and serves as the seat of the Changhai County government. The island is named for its elongated shape and numerous mountains. It boasts a winding coastline, interlinked bays, and a multitude of natural and cultural landscapes.
On Dachangshan Island, there is a sea-encircled garden, where architecture combines European and Northeast Asian styles, making it a charming small town by the sea. The Dachangshan Island tourist area consists of 28 islands, including Dachangshan Island, Haxian Island, and Sari Island. From a distance, Dachangshan Island resembles a dragon lying in the waves, with its head slightly raised and its body undulating; the Jinchan Port’s Jinchan Tu and Yuanyang Port’s Yuanyang Tu are also vividly depicted.

At the southern end of Dachangshan Island lies the Qi Xiang Garden, where the fishermen’s protector – the Sea Goddess – is enshrined. The Sea Goddess holds a treasured lotus lamp and gazes benevolently over the vast sea, ensuring the smooth sailing of ships and the safety of the people. Every year on the 13th day of the first lunar month, which is the birthday of the Sea Goddess, people of all ages gather to offer blessings and prayers. Thousands of sea lanterns are released into the sea, twinkling as they drift with the waves.

The Sanyuan Palace is a newly constructed building on the island. Standing at the entrance of the Sanyuan Palace, one faces the vast ocean and has the lush green mountains at their back, offering a splendid view. The eastern part of the Dachangshan Island scenic area includes the Yinniuwan Tourist Area, the northern and central parts have the Beihai Bathing Beach, the central part features the Sea-encircled Park, Sanyuan Palace, and the Shuangfeng Chaoyang Tower, and the western part has the ‘Sea Home’ resort, Yuanyang Bay Resort, and the Island Defense and Construction Memorial Park. Both Dachangshan Island and Haxian Island offer numerous fishing family leisure activities.

Opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions. Preferential policy for children: those under 1.2 meters (inclusive) enter for free. Parking facilities are available at the dock, with prices and spaces subject to the actual conditions at the dock, operating from 00:00 to 23:59.
