Dajinying Park is located in Nanshan, Nan’an District, Chongqing City. It stands as a landmark of Nanshan. On the plateau of Yaoying Rock, a 22-meter tall golden eagle was constructed atop a 10-meter high red conch shell, hence the name Dajinying Park. The golden eagle, which is 682 meters above sea level, is made of cement, covered with gold foil, and has an internal passage allowing visitors to climb to the eagle’s head where a viewing platform is situated. From here, one can overlook the vast landscape of Chongqing for miles. It is a daytime scenic spot in the main city, a featured attraction in ‘Aerial View of New Chongqing,’ and has become one of the iconic structures of Chongqing City. The park is lush with green grass and shaded by trees, often enveloped in clouds and rosy clouds, surrounded by pine trees, and rich in poetic charm.
