The Haida Ropeway is situated between the picturesque Baiyun Yan Shui Scenic Area in the southern part of Dalian City and the second phase of the Dalian Forest Zoo, linking 166 gondolas with a total length of 1200 meters. A single journey takes approximately 20 minutes, while a round trip lasts around 40 minutes. Nestled against the mountains and by the sea, it offers a delightful view and is the longest aerial ropeway within Dalian City. When taking the ropeway, please look after the elderly and children around you, and strictly prohibit any horseplay, swinging, or smoking inside the gondolas to ensure a safe tour.

As the cable car ascends gradually, to the west of the ropeway, one can see the vast Xinghai Square in Asia, the lengthy Binhai Road for sightseeing, the high-starred Castle Hotel, and the Xinghai Bay Cross-Sea Bridge connecting Dalian City with the High-Tech Zone, where mountains, seas, reefs, and islands complement each other with brilliance. The mid-station of the cable car is Dalian’s high point—Lotus Mountain, with an elevation of about 260 meters. From here, overlooking the east, one can see the bustling world of the four districts and the development zone within Dalian City, with European-style houses resembling large pearls embedded in this beautiful coastal city. Enjoying the panoramic view of the city from the ascending cable car is a refreshing experience, a sense of comfort and exhilaration that is unfelt in cable cars at Mount Tai or Zhangjiajie. This is the unique Oriental Pearl—Dalian.

Opening hours are from 09:00 to 16:30 all year round. Preferential policy for children: Free entry for children 1.3 meters (inclusive) and below.
