Dalubian Village was established in the second year of Yuan Dadu period (1298 AD), located in the northeastern part of Lianzhou City, in the upper reaches of Xingzi River, and is nestled in a mountainous canyon surrounded by mountains on three sides and a river on one side.
The iconic traditional architecture in the village is the Mingyuan Tower, which is a city gate-style building and also served as a secret contact point for the Chinese Communist Party’s underground organization in Dalubian Village during the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War.
