Daluo Mountain, located between Oujiang River and Feiyun River and close to the East China Sea, is 707 meters above sea level. At present, there is a national mountaineering fitness trail in Wenzhou City on Daluo Mountain. The total length of the fitness trail is about 150 kilometers and involves 40 administrative villages. It connects scenic areas such as Wumei Garden Scenic Area, Yaoxi Scenic Area, Tianhe Reservoir Scenic Area, Xianyan Scenic Area, and Tianzhu Temple Scenic Area. Here, the mountains and waters are beautiful, the vegetation is rich, the forests are lush and green, the scenery is picturesque, the shape is unique, and the scenery is naturally formed. So far, it still maintains a relatively primitive natural landscape. There are Tianhe Reservoir and Xiucaiyang Reservoir on the top of the mountain, with unique and beautiful scenery. Needless to say, the mountain scenery is charming. Each scenic area here has its own distinctive characteristics and charm, which is a wonderful combination of natural and cultural landscapes. The stone shapes on Daluo Mountain are strange and varied, some are like mushrooms, some are like eagles. Each stone seems to have life, emotion, and even a story. There are many temples on Daluo Mountain. Among them, Tianzhu Temple, which was built in the Jin Dynasty and rebuilt in the Zhenyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, is relatively famous and is one of the relatively ancient temples in southern Zhejiang. There are countless deep valleys and pools on Daluo Mountain.Meiyu Pool is the more famous attraction. The Meiyu waterfall cascades down from a steep cliff, plunging into the pool below. The water droplets splashing from the fall resemble white plum blossoms dancing in the air. As the cool mist of water vapor drifts towards us, it feels as though we are experiencing the refreshing drizzle of yellow plums during the spring and summer seasons.
The scenic area is open year-round and operates throughout the day. However, please note that the specific business status may vary depending on the day’s opening conditions.
