Dandong Fenghuang Mountain is located in the southern suburbs of Fengcheng City, Dandong. It is renowned for its beautiful mountain scenery.
In summer, Fenghuang Mountain is secluded, cool and has a pleasant environment. It is a well-known summer resort in eastern Liaoning. When October arrives, the mountains are covered with red maple leaves, making it a great place to enjoy the autumn foliage.
The main peak of Dandong Fenghuang Mountain is over 800 meters above sea level. Although the mountain is not very high, it is famous for its steepness. Walking on the steep ridge ‘Laoniubei’ can give you an exciting experience.
The secluded springs and caves are also the features of Fenghuang Mountain. Ancient caves such as Phoenix Cave, Sanjiaotang, and Yipindongtian are winding and deep. The main springs here, such as Fenglei Spring, are clear, pure and sweet. When you are tired, you can scoop up a handful of mountain spring water to drink.
There are also temples and viewpoints such as Sanguan Temple, Ziyang View, and Guanyin Pavilion dotted on the mountainside. Many believers come here to pray every year, and the incense is very prosperous.
On the 28th day of the fourth lunar month every year, in memory of and gratitude to the King of Medicine Sun Simiao, the Fenghuang Mountain Temple Fair is held. The main activities include visiting the temple and burning incense, listening to music and watching operas, tasting delicious food, and shopping for special products. At that time, the whole mountain is crowded with tourists and is quite lively.
Opening hours: It is open from 06:00 – 16:00 throughout the year; on the Dragon Boat Festival, it is open from 05:30 – 16:00. The business hours of the projects in the park are subject to the announcements of the scenic area.

Children: Free for those under 1.3 meters (inclusive) in height; half price for those aged 6 (inclusive) – 18 (inclusive) with ID cards or household registers.
