Danjing Mountain in Chengdu is located in Danjingshan Town, Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province. It is 1,147 meters above sea level and about 50 kilometers northwest of Chengdu. This is the birthplace of Tianpeng peonies in China. It is famous for its peony culture, religious culture and ancient Pengshu culture. It is known as the “Danyue Dai Zong”, “Ancient Tang Scenic Spot” and “The First in Danjing”.
The scenery of mountains and rivers in the scenic area is spectacular, and there are many cultural relics and historic sites. The Tianpeng Peony Festival is held every April, attracting a large number of tourists to come and watch. Danjing Mountain is not only suitable for enjoying flowers, but also for hiking and climbing to exercise. It is a rare tourist destination around Chengdu.
