The Dapeng Peninsula Geopark is a rare fully free national geopark in China. The park has unique ancient volcanic geological relics, unique coastal landform landscapes, and rare animal and plant resources. It forms a mountain, sea, and air landscape combination integrating tranquility, beauty, and uniqueness. Visiting the Dapeng Peninsula Geopark, climbing Qiniang Mountain to see the sea and visiting the volcanic ruins in Yangmeikeng are good choices. There is also a geopark museum in the scenic area, which uses new technological means to display the unique ancient volcanic landforms and coastal scenery of the geopark. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Friday throughout the year from 09:30 to 16:00; open from Saturday to Sunday throughout the year from 09:30 to 17:00; closed all day on Monday throughout the year.
