Dashajiahe Wetland

The Dashajiahe Wetland Park is one of the five ecological areas planned in the Shuixiu Huaxiang ecological area of Liwan District, Guangzhou. It was completed during the Guangzhou Asian Games. The Dashajiahe River is 5.2 kilometers long and runs from north to south. A 1.6-kilometer section of the river passes through the Guangzhou Flower Expo Garden. Nearly 3,000 mu of land on both banks is surrounded by flowers.

The scattered wetland islands on the Dashajiahe River are a rare ecological landscape in Guangzhou. The main scenic spots include Fisherman’s Wharf, Furong Bridge, Bird Watching Paradise, Taoran Pavilion, Golden Corridor, Fangfei Island, Xiushi Museum and Yixiang Garden. Not far from the entrance at the main gate of the Dashajiahe Wetland Park, there are bicycle rental points and canteens. There are bicycle greenways in the whole park.

Open all day all year round.
