Haihui Temple is located in a valley called ‘Hundreds of Birds Returning to Their Nest’ within the Dayan Mountain Scenic Area, covering an area of z hectares. The temple is built against the mountain and cliffs, with tiered structures ascending upwards, featuring eaves and brackets, creating a staggered layout. It is adorned with magnificent halls and solemn pavilions. The existing buildings include the Mahavira Hall, the Ten Kings Hall, the mountain gate, the guest hall, the dining hall, the monks’ quarters, the release pond, the Anfu Hall, the Guanyin Hall, and the Sutra Pavilion. The temple enshrines the golden statues of Sakyamuni and other deities such as Arhats. Haihui Temple is currently presided over by the eminent monk Shi Jiancheng, with Shi Dunxuan as the managing monk. Daily, the temple resonates with the sound of morning bells and evening drums, and the continuous chanting of Buddhist hymns, making it a thriving Buddhist activity site where believers from all directions come to worship and pray. The temple is open from 08:30 to 17:00 every day from January 1st to December 31st.
