Dazhuhai Hengjie Rafting is located in the eastern part of the Siming Mountains, 15 kilometers away from the urban area of Ningbo and 12 kilometers from Lishe International Airport. The rafting course is 2 kilometers long with a total drop of 50 meters along the rafting section, taking approximately 1 hour to complete, making it a popular night rafting destination in Ningbo.
The rafting site benefits from the abundant rainfall in the eastern Siming Mountains, with an average annual precipitation of 1900mm. The canyon river section has a large catchment area, and the surrounding mountainous vegetation is well-developed, with lush forests forming an effective barrier against water runoff. The topographical and geomorphological conditions are favorable, with all sections of the riverbed being rocky, free from soil erosion. The rafting section is densely populated with large trees, offering beautiful scenery.
The first 500 meters is a gentle flow section with an open water surface, allowing visitors to pause and appreciate the beautiful scenery on both banks. The middle 800 meters of the river section suddenly narrows, with increased drop and tortuous waterways, resulting in rapid water flow. The last 700 meters of the stream gradually becomes gentler, with the river widening, leading to the end of the rafting journey.
While preserving the original ecological environment, we have ensured the safety and smoothness of the rafting course. The course is clearly marked throughout, with few obstacles and is relatively safe. This allows visitors to experience the thrill of rafting while safely and comfortably enjoying the canyon and pastoral scenery.
