Deng Yanda’s Former Residence is located in Lujing Village, Sandong Town, Huizhou City. It is the place where Deng Yanda spent his childhood. Due to long-term neglect, it was reconstructed in 1986. The building features a brick and wood structure with six rooms and two halls, covering an area of 189 square meters. The exhibition showcases the life of Deng Yanda, the founder of the Revolutionary Alliance. The museum’s displays are divided into two main parts: photographic materials and cultural relics. Five exhibition rooms depict Deng Yanda’s life from growing up to dedicating himself to the revolution and ultimately sacrificing for the democratic revolution. One room is dedicated to Deng Yanda’s bedroom, displaying cultural relics such as the wooden chair with armrests and the carved red bed that he used during his lifetime. Opening hours are closed all day on Mondays; open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Tuesdays to Sundays. The specific business status is subject to the day’s opening conditions.
