Dianjiang Peony Ecological Tourism Area is located in Taiping Town, Dianjiang County. It is a comprehensive leisure resort integrating sightseeing, entertainment, leisure, vacation, business, and conferences. Situated at the core of Chongqing Mingyue Mountain Scenic Area, the Dianjiang Peony Ecological Tourism Area boasts over 20,000 acres of peony cultivation with 65 varieties, making it a rare sight nationwide and a standout in the western region. Hence, Dianjiang peonies are known as the source of Chinese peonies, and Dianjiang is also referred to as the hometown of peonies. Every March, Dianjiang peonies bloom, with a flowering period lasting up to half a month. The Dianjiang peonies are characterized by their large flower size, beautiful posture, long flowering period, and a variety of colors including bright red, rose red, pink, and white. There are over 60 varieties such as Taiping Red, Qiancen Xiang, Youshan Yan, Longhua Chun, Shugu Xian, Luojian Red, Mengshen Jiao, Zuilu Jiu, and Changkangle Yu, distributed naturally in a three-dimensional manner. They are organically combined with mountains, water, rocks, flowers, bamboo, and trees, forming a harmonious unity with special aesthetic value.
