It is said that after the construction of the Dragon King Temple, the Dragon King of the East China Sea once returned to Xianguding for inspection and cloud wandering. The local people built a rest pavilion near the Dragon King Temple for the Dragon King to rest, hoping that the Dragon King would frequently patrol here and bless the local people. The pavilion is named Dinglong Pagoda. It is open all year round and available 24/7.
