Dipu Village is located in the eastern part of Jiangnan Town, bordering Fuyang, and predominantly inhabited by the Shen surname. The village boasts a rich history, dating back approximately 900 years, and is deeply rooted in cultural heritage.
Di Pu Village is known for its four distinctive cultural elements: filial piety culture, ancient drama culture, ancient papermaking culture, and ancient tree culture. The ancient architecture in the village is well-preserved, primarily featuring Huizhou-style buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The village is home to a variety of historical sites, including a well from the Song Dynasty, a water system from the Ming Dynasty, stone archways, temples, ancestral halls, and residences from the Qing Dynasty, totaling more than forty locations. What’s more, three relatively intact Ming Dynasty residential buildings are preserved here.
Di Pu Village is open to visitors all year round, with full-day access.
