Xiuli Water Town – A Scenic Wonderland

Xiuli Scenic Area, also known as Xiuli Film and Television Village, is nestled in the picturesque county of Yi, often referred to as the ‘home within the Peach Blossom Spring’. Over the years, it has been favored by numerous filmmakers and directors from around the world, becoming a renowned natural location for film and television shooting. Dozens of famous films and TV works, including ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’, ‘Ju Dou’, ‘Little Flower’, and ‘Temptress Moon’, have been filmed here.


Additionally, the movie ‘Suk Yi’ started its shooting here for the first time, and the Beijing Zhongying Group completed the filming of the full-scene movie version of ‘My Own Swordsman’ in this location. It is also the widely sought-after ‘Seven Heroes Town’ by movie fans, with fans flocking to find the ‘Tongfu Inn’ following the release of the films. The scenic area features an old Hui-style commercial street, gardens, rivers, and Hui-style antique residences, narrating countless stories of fame.


The opening hours are from 08:00 to 17:30 all year round.


Preferential policies include discounts for children: with a height between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.4 meters (inclusive), for the elderly: aged between 60 (exclusive) and 65 (exclusive) with a senior card, for military personnel: with valid identification, and for students: with a student card.
