This exhibition, as an important original event for the 2024 ‘Erudite Dongguan’ cultural brand, is not only a visual feast but also a profound cultural experience and a historical dialogue across time, which is beneficial for cultural heritage and regional exchange. The Qing Dynasty was the last feudal dynasty in China, and the Opium War marked the beginning of modern Chinese history. When the ‘Land of Dragon’s Rise’ meets the ‘Beginning of Modern History’, and the rise of the Qing Dynasty encounters the opening of modern history, the wonderful collision of history will open the door to time, bringing new thoughts about history. The exhibition, divided into four parts: ‘Pioneering Efforts’, ‘Valiant Banners’, ‘Luxurious Attire and Food’, and ‘Elegant Palace Interests’, offers a glimpse into the tumultuous early history of the Qing Dynasty, reveals long-sealed royal stories, and displays the style of the early Qing Dynasty. Open from November 11th to February 14th, with specific business status subject to daily opening conditions.
