The Dongguan Food Customs Museum is a specialized museum themed around Dongguan’s food customs, dedicated to exhibiting and promoting traditional food culture as a leisure and consumption destination. Invested in by Dongguan Garden Porridge City Service Co., Ltd. with over 3 million yuan, it was opened in December 2005, covering an exhibition area of 884 square meters. The museum houses more than 1500 artifacts, showcasing the origins of Dongguan’s food customs, various cooking utensils and dining ware, and the distinctive food features and customs of each town, reflecting the historical evolution of Dongguan’s food culture.
