Dongguan Haogang Site Museum is a three-story structure, comprising a Time Tunnel, Site Exhibition Hall, Haogang Cultural Relics Hall, Sanjiang Painted Pottery Hall, Temporary Exhibition Hall, and Interactive Exhibition Hall.
The museum combines archaeological excavation sites with unearthed artifacts, images, and scene reconstructions, vividly recreating the daily lives and excavation processes of the ‘Haogang People’ over 5000 years ago.
It also showcases the painted pottery from the three major river basins of the Pearl River, Yangtze River, and Yellow River, highlighting the diverse painted pottery culture of China.
Opening hours: All year round, Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Sunday 09:00-12:00, 14:00-17:15; Wednesdays are closed all day; during winter and summer vacations, as well as national holidays, the museum is open from 09:00-12:00, 14:00-17:45.
