Xiangshi Zoo is brimming with natural charm, creating a pristine living environment for animals by combining large enclosures with semi-free breeding and mixed breeding methods, allowing them to fully display their natural habits. Here, you can observe rare animals from around the world such as Asian elephants, giraffes, tigers, lions, and black bears, and enjoy exciting performances by elephants, sea lions, and other animals.
The zoo’s signature attractions are its two major animal performance venues: the Comprehensive Performance Arena and the Marine Animal Performance Hall. Visitors can delight in the endearing performances of elephants and bear monkeys, as well as sea lion shows, and witness traditional acrobatics such as silk hanging, jar balancing, and aerial wheel rotations.
Opening hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 all year round. On weekdays, acrobatics performances are at 10:30 and 14:00, while marine animal performances are at 12:00 and 15:30. On weekends and holidays, acrobatics and marine animal performances are at 10:30, 12:30, 14:30, and 16:00.
