The Donghai Crystal Museum of China is one of the largest and highest-grade specialized museums in the country, themed on crystal. It is located at No.1 Zhonghua Road, Donghai County, by the beautiful Xishuang Lake, in the core of the new city area. The museum integrates the display of crystal masterpieces, silicon industry exhibitions, historical artifacts, academic discussions, and international exchanges. It gathers high-quality and exquisitely crafted natural crystal stones and crystal crafts from Donghai and around the world, showcasing the crystal world’s brilliance and infinite charm. It plays a significant role in enhancing the competitiveness of Donghai’s crystal industry and promoting the integration of crystal with culture. In January 2015, the museum was honored with the title of ‘China’s Crystal Museum’ by the China Arts and Crafts Association. In July of the same year, it was listed as the Donghai branch of the China Geological Museum and successfully applied to become a national 4A-level tourist attraction in December. It is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:30; closed all day on Mondays; open on New Year’s Day from 09:00 to 17:30. It is closed every Monday, except for national holidays; the actual business status is subject to the day’s opening conditions.
Mandatory Tips: 1. No smoking or loud noises are allowed inside the museum. 2. Do not touch historical artifacts and exhibits. 3. Please cooperate with security checks before entering the exhibition. 4. No flash, tripods, selfie sticks, or similar equipment should be used when taking photos in the exhibition hall. 5. Prohibited items such as controlled knives, lighters, dangerous goods, and pets are not allowed to be brought into the venue. 6. Please park your vehicles in designated areas in the parking lot. 7. Group visits require advance booking. 8. Individuals who are intoxicated, improperly dressed, or have no or limited behavioral capacity without a guardian are not allowed to enter. 9. Other individuals who may endanger the safety of exhibits or affect the visit of other visitors are not allowed to enter.
