The Donghuacheng Temple Pagoda was built in the seventh year of Yuanyou in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is called the Donghuacheng Temple Pagoda. Also, because it was built during the Yuanyou period, it is also known as the Yuanyou Pagoda. When the tower was first built, it had a brick-wood structure. The plane was square, with a side width of about 2 meters. Originally, it had seven floors, but now only four floors remain. The tower foundation is built with stone slabs. Some of the side surfaces of the tower bricks are respectively molded with tower-shaped patterns or the inscription ‘Established in the seventh year of Yuanyou, RenShen’.
