Dongjiang Park is located along the Dongjiang River in the Huicheng District of Huizhou City, starting from the Dongjiang Bridge in the east to the Huizhou Bridge in the west, and is bordered by Dongjiang Avenue to the north. It is one of the projects in Huizhou City’s ‘Two Rivers, Four Banks’ initiative. The park spans approximately 30 to 50 meters in width and is about 2.02 kilometers long along the river, forming a ribbon-like distribution, with a planned land area of 119,500 square meters. The first phase of Dongjiang Park was completed in April 2003, stretching from the Huizhou Bridge in the east to the Huizhou-Bo Luo River Road junction in the west, covering an area of about 1.2 kilometers and 100,000 square meters. Upon completion of the entire Dongjiang Park, a ribbon-like riverside landscape belt, 3.22 kilometers long, will be formed along the north bank of the Dongjiang River from the Dongjiang Bridge to the Huizhou-Bo Luo River Road junction. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
