Dongjing Mountain Scenic Area is located at the northern foot of Lao Mountain in Qingdao City, with the Jimo Yellow Sea on its side. Covering an area of 0.4 square kilometers and reaching an elevation of 107 meters, the scenic area features two peaks. The western peak is named Eagle Beak Mountain due to a large rock that resembles an eagle’s beak. The mountain is known for its magical myths and legends.
It is said that the mountain once guided local fishermen back to shore with lights and also had legends of healing and saving the poor. As a result, worshippers have been coming to pay homage continuously, with incense smoke lingering throughout the mountain. Looking east from the mountain, the sea and mountain scenery complement each other, creating a harmonious and magnificent view. The sea and sky blend into one, with shimmering scales reflecting the light, adding to the enchanting and unique scenery of Dongjing Mountain.
