Dongluo Island is located southwest of Sanya City, 50 nautical miles away from Sanya. The island features a lighthouse and is situated at the geographical coordinates of 18°19’18” North latitude and 108°57’6″ East longitude. It is accompanied by Donglang Island across the sea, with a distance of 3-4 nautical miles between the two islands.
This undeveloped island boasts breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, and its tropical natural scenery serves as a paradigm of Hainan Province’s tropical rainforests. The steep cliffs of the island are covered with lush tropical rainforests. Due to its remoteness from urban areas, the island is relatively pollution-free, and the surrounding seawater is crystal clear, teeming with a multitude of beautiful corals.
