The Dongshuang Bridge is located in the eastern section of Dongjie, Shaoxing urban area, Zhejiang Province. According to Jiatai’s ‘Record of Kuaiji’ in the Southern Song Dynasty: ‘It is in the east of the prefectural city.’ According to ‘Shaoxing County Records Materials’: ‘The Dongshuang Bridge is located in Chengdong Town and is between the Fangche Bridge and the Bazijiao Bridge.’ It is a semicircular stone arch bridge running from east to west. The bridge deck is 5.60 meters long, 8.30 meters wide, and has a clear span of 4.92 meters. The arch rings are laid in sections and in parallel. The main slope of the bridge is to the west. There are stepped secondary slopes on both sides of the main slope. The main and secondary slopes are separated by solid railings. The words ‘Dongshuang Bridge’ are written in the middle of the bridge railing. Open all year round and open all day.
