Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge

Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge is a river-crossing passage connecting Yuzhong District and Nan’an District in Chongqing City, featuring a double-tower single-cable plane steel truss cable-stayed beam bridge. The bridge spans over a thousand meters in length, with a three-span layout and a distinctive exterior design.
Open all year round and available 24/7, Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge is one of the iconic structures of Chongqing, situated over the Yangtze River, serving as a dual-purpose bridge for both public and rail traffic, and is an important fast route and a landmark urban landscape in the urban area of Chongqing. Construction of the bridge began on December 29, 2009, and it was opened to traffic on March 31, 2014.

The bridge is conveniently accessible, just a short walk from Xiaoshizi Metro Station, and a single metro stop away from Nan’an District, leading to the Longmen Hau Scenic Area.
