Dongxia Beach is located at the foot of Yuanbao Mountain in Dongxia Village, Songmen Town. Here is a cave with a water curtain at the entrance. According to the elders, one can reach other villages several kilometers away through that cave. There is a small water curtain at the entrance, and water flows down along the rock wall or drips down. However, for safety reasons, it is better not to enter the cave alone. The rocks inside and outside the cave are covered with shellfish such as mussels, Neptunea cumingi, barnacles, and oysters. Outside the cave is a beach called Dongxia Beach. There are many stone house homestays around this seaside beach, such as Yuanshe, On the Waterfront, Yinxingyuan, Yuhai Pavilion, and Sea Never Sleeps. Opening hours: open all day throughout the year.
