Dongxing National Gate Scenic Area, a symbol of the national gate, is a first-class port of entry between China and Vietnam, with cities relying on each other. Almost all domestic and foreign tourists who visit Dongxing make it a point to visit the port, as there is a saying, “If you don’t walk to the port, you have wasted your trip to Dongxing.”
The scenic area primarily offers activities such as sightseeing and shopping in the national gate tourist area. It is poised to become a shopping paradise and a national gate destination for future tourism. The vision includes the development of French-style arcaded streets, tourist goods streets, shopping cities, international tourism distribution centers, and Sino-Vietnamese Friendship Parks.
The Dongxing National Gate Scenic Area is composed of three major sections: the Sino-Vietnamese Friendship Park, the port pedestrian street, and the Chen Jitang Memorial Hall. These sections are connected by the Beilun River, which borders Vietnam, highlighting the port’s unique charm. The scenic area is open all year round, operating 24/7.
